Scaling Radar — August 15

40 candidates, 11 new alerts.

New alerts

Four are substantive. Block Bloom: Color Blast (Nebula Studio, Android, 46 days) — from zero into four countries in Asia, #31 in Vietnam, 107 reviews/day at 100,000+ installs: the title lay outside the charts for a month and a half, the budget was switched on the day before yesterday. Her Jigsaw Story (RED INFINITY, 72 days) — 0 → 8 countries, all tier-1 Europe, #48 in Denmark. An expensive entry, but only 4 reviews a day — the traffic is still narrow. Arrows World (FunForge, 155 days) — an old title on fresh money: 8 → 10 countries, JP/KR/CO, 628 reviews/day. Chameleon Paint (MobGame, 33 days) — made it in on rank, #32 → #18, but geo went 31 → 29: the "paint and hide" clone wave has stopped expanding. The other seven — one country, zero reviews, noise.

Breakdown

Angry Smash (Tripledot, 25 days) — the main one today. The day before yesterday it wasn't in the charts at all, today it's five countries: AT #77, CH #80, JP #82, DE and US #97. Reviews 220 a day, growth +2445%, the install bracket jumped into 50,000+. No soft launch in cheap geo — straight into tier-1 and Japan. This is exactly the moment the radar was built for.

Slow Mo Strike: Knives in Time (KAYAC, iOS, 18 days) — 2 → 5 → 11 countries, JP #11 → #8 → #5, US #12 → #5. A clean rollout outward from two key markets, eighteen days old. The best start on iOS this week.

Human Rise: Idle Evolution (24 HIT Riga, 57 days) — yesterday I wrote that they're gathering volume and haven't learned to earn. I take it back: geo 11 → 19 with entries into US/CA/JP/KR, DK #48 → #25, install bracket up, and most importantly — it appeared in Top Grossing for the first time, in 16 countries at once, #36 in Greece. In two days from "pouring at a loss" to "pays off".

Chillquarium (Snapbreak) — the opposite case. Geo 15 → 20, entered Asia high right away (SG #9, HK #13, TW #23), install bracket up. But the Grossing I put in its plus column yesterday collapsed from two countries to zero. Volume grows, the money is gone.

Cash Arrows (StatusWorld, 61 days) — 4 → 7 countries, PH and ZA both at #2, 1,890 reviews/day. The geo is narrow on purpose: they're squeezing three or four cheap markets to the max rather than rolling out wide. Separately, Mystery Dumpling (Brocker Bus, 8 days) — 47 countries, #1 almost everywhere: phenomenal speed, but there's nowhere left to enter.

Movement

Get Color Pack (Tripledot) 12 → 21 countries, #41 → #25 — accelerated. Dream Tiles (Magic Products) 18 → 26, #27 → #20. Paint & Hide (HIGAME) 39 → 41 and #2 → #1. Loop Master +SG/TH/TR.

Three collapsed. Aurora Jigsaw, yesterday's best new alert — 5 countries → 1, #64 → #98. The bet didn't play out, the test was shut down in two days. GOGO! Blast (Nebula) 11 → 4, #28 → #70. Jewelscapes 25 → 22, #23 → #40.

Hedgehog Ranger stalled after its sprint: 14 → 18 countries, but every rank is in the tail of the hundred and only 22 reviews a day — geo was added, there's no traffic. Dear Passengers has squeezed geo for the fourth day (22 → 15 → 10), yet holds #1–2 in nine countries, and the install bracket went into 500,000+. This isn't a wind-down, it's concentration: they removed everything except what works.

Publishers

Tripledot — three titles moving at once: Angry Smash (launch), Get Color Pack (+9 countries), Stack Smash (+5). Portfolio buying; the publisher is what to watch.
Nebula Studio — Block Bloom (launch), Tap Tile! (44), Zoodoku (30), GOGO! Blast (collapse). They launch the new and let the old go.
HM Games (both legal entities) — Ocean Block Shoot 26 → 20 and Solitaire Stack Sort 23 → 22: the portfolio is giving way.

On both platforms: Royal Smash, Bus Traffic Fever, CubeAway, Amaze GO!, Hollywood Merge, Rap Star, Slow Mo Strike.

Scaling Radar — money, August 15

Android only: install brackets and Top Grossing are shown by Play itself, iOS has none of that.

Who entered Grossing

Human Rise: Idle Evolution (24 HIT Riga, 57 days) — the event of the day. As recently as the day before yesterday there wasn't a single country in Grossing, today there are sixteen: #36 Greece, #38 Sweden, #51 Hong Kong, #55 Singapore, #56 Denmark. At the same time the install bracket went up and Top Free geo grew 11 → 19. Appearing in Grossing in sixteen countries at once isn't a random payer, it's economics that have started working. Meanwhile in Top Free the title sits in the seventies and eighties: more money than visibility. The perfect profile for catch-up buying.

Solitaire Stack Sort (HM Games, 71 days) — 0 → 4 countries, #86 in Belgium. Ranch Legacy: Idle Farm Tycoon (Infinity Games, 15 days) — one country, #94 in Norway, at a thousand installs. For a two-week-old title, money before volume is a rare and good order of events.

Growing Grossing

Bus Loop: Jam Master (Shoyo Mobi) — 5 → 14 countries, #57 → #55 (Brazil), even though Top Free slipped 36 → 29. Geo was cut, revenue grew: they were cleaning out unprofitable markets. The same pattern at FurrJam: Hop In! (3 → 10 countries, #70 → #53) and Rap Star: Idle Clicker (8 → 15, #63 → #59, and #4 in Top Free). Stack Smash (Tripledot) 1 → 3.

Down: Ghost Sniper 14 → 10 countries, CubeAway 4 → 0, Loop Master 1 → 0.

Volume grows, no money

Three titles with a Play-confirmed jump in the install bracket and a zero in Grossing.

Angry Smash (Tripledot, 25 days) — 50,000+, purchase catalogue up to $99.99, Grossing empty. For day three in the charts that's normal; I'm noting it as a baseline — I'll come back to it in a week.
Chillquarium (Snapbreak, 95 days) — 100,000+, IAP $3.99–8.49, and Grossing fell from two countries to zero exactly when the buying expanded into Asia. Asian traffic is cheaper and doesn't pay; for a title with three-dollar monetization that's a verdict on this specific rollout, not on the game.
Dear Passengers (Joy Fast Food, 18 days) — 500,000+ installs, no purchases in the catalogue at all. Pure ads, and from the geo squeeze down to nine rich countries you can see they're counting eCPM, not LTV.

Wide in Free, zero in Grossing

The group it's time to name names in: titles older than three months, sitting high in Top Free across dozens of countries and not showing a single country in Grossing.

Meowdoku (Oakever, 113 days) — #1 in 35 countries, 10,000,000+ installs, a purchase catalogue up to $69.99 and zero Grossing. Either the in-game purchases don't work, or nobody sees them.
Jigsaw Drop (Runyou, 98 days) — 46 countries, #7, a million installs, no purchases in the catalogue. Tap Tile! (Nebula, 122 days) — 44 countries, #7, also without IAP. Mahjong Master (205 days) — 45 countries. Amaze GO! (Oakever, 183 days) — 45 countries, #2, 50,000,000+ installs without a single purchase in the catalogue.

Oakever has both titles in this group, and both with eight-figure installs — the publisher built its entire portfolio on the ad model. That's a workable strategy, but it means their whole buying operation rests on eCPM arbitrage: any move in network rates hits them directly.

Separately, Mystery Dumpling (Brocker Bus, 8 days) — 47 countries, #1 almost everywhere, zero in Grossing. For day eight, expected. But the same publisher's Bracelet Maker (37 days, 40 countries, a million installs) has been sitting at zero in Grossing for the third week. If Dumpling repeats that by the end of the month, it isn't a quirk of the title, it's the publisher's model.
